If that's true, maybe cops should just shoot gang members on sight? I mean, if they're all murderers anyway.

Seriously though, I really think killing officers should be a mandatory death sentence with no ability to appeal. We just don't need this kind of loser in our world.

Sometimes I see the death penalty is letting people off too easy. Life without the possibility of parole is perhaps harsher.

NO...I don't want us to keep feeding them and letting them enjoy prison life.
For a lot of these people, prison life is a nice pleasant vacation.
They should die.

It wasn't just them protesting, they were trying to block the entrance so the police couldn't get med help. When they cleared the protestors, that is when they were chanting "We hope they die". But these people would never set fires now would they? Heard some of the police that spoke up got suspended. They are so afraid these people who get arrested over and over, only for them to drop charges will be targeted. Instead of the people who died trying to escape the fire.

That says a lot about the lack of character of the protesters.

We really need to bring back the death penalty in this nation. I think it's the only thing some people understand.

The guy who did this should not be breathing the same air decent people breathe.

The only time the death penalty was outlawed in the entire country was a period between 1972 and 1976, when it was declared unconstitutional.

The death penalty exists today. Each state has the choice. So if you're planning on killing some innocent people, probably you should
do it in a non death penalty state. Hell, if you do it in California and the victims are cops, you're likely to get off with time served.

...unless you are in California or New York. They love and pamper cop killers.
No possible harm should come to them.

They love repeat offenders in general. Guaranteed employment for the lawyers.
This is why they do not want anyone harming them in those places.
Just look at their laws on self-defense.

Death for murderers, aggravated rapists, child rapists, is not necessarily cost effective.

Example: Had Ted Bundy been sentenced to life, it would have cost maybe 800,000 to house him until he was 83. It cost five million to fry him.

That doesn't mean I don't believe in the death penalty. But there is that.

20 years later.....we still paying for them. Medical, Food, Clothing, and then they become a trustee.

Then change those rules. Give them a small cell, a scrub brush, hang a noose from the ceiling just a little too high to reach as a lifelong taunt. Slide the food under the door twice a day.

The way our death penalty system works, trials cost 7X more and it take a decade or two to finally execute them.
