McConnell is almost certainly going to demonstrate his complete lack of ethics and morals and will try to push through a nominee. However, Lisa Murkowski has already said that she will not vote to confirm anyone until 2021, and I believe that there are at least two other Republican senators with enough of a conscience to do the same.

Ideally nobody since we are so close to a presidential election. McConnell used that excuse last time this happened when Obama was President and refused to bring Merrick Garland's name up for consideration stating that it was was an election year and the senate refused to bring it to the floor.

If they do bring forth a name for nomination and it is brought to the floor, it will cement in the minds of many of the hypocrisy of the republican party.
