Protecting market share and hegemony is a matter of national security. Huawei was selling more phones than apple. Tiktoc more popular than youtube with the kids. Cant allow it.

That's not it. European brands and services are not banned. The problem is with anti-American countries having our data to use against Americans. Its the same reason they told us not to use Kaspersky.

However; Google will gladly sell your info to the Chinese if they pay enough. Kids need to smarten up.
