    Unawareness of the Holocaust

Has anyone ever heard of something called the Holocaust?

Nearly two-thirds of US young adults unaware 6m Jews killed in the Holocaust

According to survey of adults 18-39, 23% said they believed the Holocaust was a myth, had been exaggerated or they weren’t sure.

The Jews need to be more diligent in informing people EVERY DAY about the Holocaust.

Maybe the problem is too much information. I really don't understand why people need to know this stuff. Who the $%$% wants to here about it every day? Its depressing. But yeah the fact that this is pushed so hard probably makes some suspicious.

I was dating a young PE teacher a while ago - she went on a trip to Europe and I asked her about what she did - she said when she was in Germany or somewhere near there she went to a concentration camp. And she said it made her depressed because she didn't know about it. Ha. I asked why she would choose to do something so depressing on a holiday and she said tourist agency or whatever encouraged it as a tourist attraction. She also told me she went to collision in Rome and she thought it was small and unimpressive. Ha. But yeah she was a teacher and didn't know anything about holocaust. A PE teacher but still.

From what I gather from the internet, the history books being used by many school districts in America limit the study WWII to the key events and just the basic facts to support those events - perhaps 4-6 pages of text in total. Only 15 states require Holocaust education as part of their secondary school curricula.

It is so critically important that today’s children learn about man’s ultimate inhumanity to man. Those that forget history are condemned to repeat it. It teaches our youth what demonization of “different” can lead to. The dangers of suppression, surrender, bigotry, silence, thought police, tyranny, etc. Personally, I would have Schindler’s List be required reading and viewing in every senior year of high school in the USA.

There are people that deny it. Soon there will be more so.

This is what happens when education steers away from world history and otherwise becomes a second rate obligation. It's also a sign that kids have too many toys to play with.

I have a friend who is a big-time Jew supporter. However, he hates BLM. I asked him what should happen to BLM rioters? He said they should be shot. I told him the Germans viewed the Jews the same way we view BLM, that the Germans felt Jews worked to destroy everything good and virtuous in German society.

Throughout millennia other societies have felt the same way about them. No one, including the USA, wanted to take in the Jews during WWII even though everyone knew they were being massacred.

The Nazis were wrong to massacre them. They should have found some other way if they wanted Jews out of their continent.

But on the other hand, during WWII the Allies raped and massacred countless innocent women and children with little condemnation.

Hello? Seems there's probably far more to the Holocaust story than we've been told:

    https://thepoliticalforums.com/threa...-Human-History

I have read that impetus for European migration to America after 1492 was primarily to avoid a holocaust.
