Unlimited bag limit on them here. You can kill pigs all day every day if you want.

Ah! I don't like that. That animal got all charged up before it died. Not only do I not like to see anything suffer, it makes the meat gamey, too.
I don't call that great at all. Instant shutdown is always best.

So I'm all scheduled up for hog hunting in mid-October. Oklahoma.

Gonna take my Winchester 30.06 Featherweight as my main and my Daniels Defense SPR 5.56MM as a last resort back up. Plus they have a 500 yard range there and I can't wait to show these boys what that SPR can do with that Vortex scope on it at 500 yards. They've never seen a quarter grouping from an AR at that range.

So in my excitement I...like any other red blooded American man excited about a hunt...have been looking up hog hunts and such. I came across spear hunting. There are a few guys out there but one stands out above the rest.

    'Tim Wells, Bow Hunter'.

Now for all you anti-hunter people out there that claim that humans have such an amazing advantage and that they should be on the same level as the animals? Well here is a guy that killed a black bear....with a blow gun...

Here is a guy that killed a Grizzly...with a spear...

Now before you go all crazy keep in mind that the spear is actually more deadly and quick and thus more humane than even a bullet. Watch the video (warning graffic) for proof.

I had to post this because this guy is both humble and completly legit.
I'm wondering what he had for back up in case he missed and just pssed him off?

Yeah I've never spotted a side arm but I'm almost positive he has one. Also a lot of times he has someone with a rifle backing him up when he is going for the big ones.

He didn't kill it. He blew it to smithereens. Now if he'd done it and they had a barbecue that would be one thing.....

Wow. I have often joked that if they could sell licenses for it we'd soon have spear season and maybe hand to hand combat category.

I don't get it , unless he borrowed a posion dart the shot would have to hit what the heart or aorta? I just can't comprehend it. I'll have to tell my bow hunter son about this dude.
