Ah, so did you misunderstand the question or did you just decide to deflect?

I do think that President Trump handled this question rather clumsily: A far better answer would have been that yes, of course, he would abide by all precedent and constitutional requirements in this regard--and then just let the matter drop.

But I really cannot imagine that he would attempt to cling to power, if he were to lose, like some Third World dictator might.

Presumably, he was considering the possibility that there may be widespread "ballot harvesting" in 2020--which would, of course, throw the election results into disarray.

Trump is definitely undermining the election results before they happen. He's trailing in polls, he knows this. He has yet to explain how mail in ballots would be used in a fraud but somehow the fraud will take place? Or maybe he took a look at the polls and realized that half of democrat voters are planning to vote by mail while only 1 in 4 of republicans plan to vote by mail. In other words, it's to Trumps advantage that mail voting is undermined somehow. He did the same thing back in 2016 when the polls said he's lose and he went on to claim fraud before anything happened. Then ofcourse there was a shift and him and Hillary were neck and neck in the polls and he wound up winning while still claiming there was widespread fraud. Which there wasn't. I don't know the reason he does this but not too worried about it as I think the system is good enough to push him out if he loses.

As far as this election goes, democrats, don't celebrate too early. While Trump is behind on the polls, those same polls say that it's close in battleground states, like Florida. So, there's a real chance he wins the electorate while losing the popular vote. A repeat of 2016 is very possible.

The Prog Transition Integrity Project is planning a color revolution in the United States should Trump win. A color revolution like those the US orchestrated in other nations such as Ukraine. That is sedition, not merely undermining the election results.

That is the plan of the democrats to throw the election.

the popular vote doesn't mean squat.
