There is something gnawing at me with respect to this story that really seems to be overlooked by everybody except the court.

The culprit IS the no knock warrant. Most apartments have only a front door, so the guy (probably the wrong one) could not have run away. Having said that, the issue for ME is that the occupant fired first! So the cops were acting in accordance with training and flat common sense. The big trouble however is that - the couple rightfully thought they were being broken into. Apparently the ex boyfriend was the drug fiend and the couple had heard that he might be coming... The current boyfriend was not on drugs and they found no drugs, so exactly who was the warrant for and for what?

...Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron’s office led the investigation into the calamitous execution of the search warrant. His was a difficult position. There are concurrent federal, state, and local investigations ongoing. And he would serve as a special prosecutor, a common appointment due to concerns that local district attorney offices work too closely with the police departments they may be charged to investigate. The implications were well understood.

But Cameron is also a black man. And too often these days, everything related to our criminal justice system is defined along color lines. On MSNBC, former Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Cheryl Dorsey derisively said of Cameron: “He’s skin folk, but he is not kinfolk.” Noted race-baiter Colin Kaepernick predictably weighed in with his take that the policing profession contains “white supremacists” and needs to be abolished.

And as usual, lies proliferated in the supercharged case from the outset. Louisville’s Courier-Journal set about to fact-check some of the distortions, such as: 1) police were at the wrong apartment, 2) police effected a no-knock warrant, 3) Breonna Taylor was shot and killed while asleep in her bed, and 4) Mattingly was wounded by friendly fire. I don't know the specifiics of the shooting but I do believe this was the functional equivent of a no knock raid. That is NOT on the officiers but rather on those that set this up the way they did in an innocent woman's house. Of course the "protesters" don't even know who's trying to take effective action as demonstrated by their assualt on Rand Paul.
Here's the thing though the handling of BLM has assured that every time the black community is dissatisfied enough they will riot. Like a thiord world country. Thank's DNC.
