So what is the process of doing that? Is it a simple majority by the House and Senate, with the President signing off on it? Or is it more difficult than that?

So the court is being returned to its balance. Thanks for your opinion and glad we could help do as you wish.

Federal judges and Justices are given a life tenure (good performance) by the Constitution.

The only ways to change that are contained in Art. V, US Const.

Why does the left insist they can term limit judges and Justices by legislation?

Same as any other legislation. Congress passes, president signs, doesn't sign (and it becomes a law w/o his sig), or vetoes (and Congress can override).

The cannot legislate limits. It would take a COTUS amendment to ‘straighten out’ the Court by term limits.

Well, we got Roe v Wade and a host of other things. The court can be changed and the way the far right has permeated Republican politics it's not a stretch to think it can be done. It's the politics that has ruined our court. The constitution now pretty much takes a back seat to political agenda and that is what needs to change.

Confirming Barrett will straighten out this tilted court. Tilted by judges such as Ruth Ginsburg, Sonja Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan.

The same way that the right thinks that they can term limit congress by legislation. Blacks and women got the vote by legislation. Eighteen year olds can vote by legislation. Have you forgotten where you are?
