Okay, here's a good one. This was said by a far right contributor here with all seriousness.

I think many of us recognize the demonic influence that pervades many on the left over the course of the last 4.5 years. I'm talking about the screamers, crininals, rioters, disruptors, liars, screwballs and nutcakes.

Now, how does a competent person respond to something THAT inflammatory? It is - that type of thinking - that "haunts" any discussions on this board.

Ransome, I thank you for making an earnest effort. What you are now on to is really more of historical knowledge, good or bad, and moving away from the subject you've introduced. All of things you mention are very very well documented and written about by experts and are undisputed. I think that what you're trying to get at here is the flaming effect that such labels have. I just posted a response to chris that includes probably thee worst flamer on this board in action once again.

The other issue about these labels DOES come from discussions of politics and the sources from where such "political opinion" derives. hat too is a source of contention that I commented on earlier. Only because said histories are - applied or - misapplied in order to give one's opinion an authoritative appeal. Left-wing nuts and right-wing nuts are cut from the very same combative cloth and I "physically ignore" nine or ten of them right now. THAT is a great solution to cutting them out of the discussions; if that's your goal.

Actually, I'm saying the effect isn't flaming at all.....because despite the experts writing on the undisputed, it's crystal clear most of our constituency has chewed on more book covers than they've cracked. Especially history book covers. I'm saying those who have read history and have documented the 'experts' you speak of know today's rhetoric of racism and nazis comes from the ignorant. And I cannot abide ignorance. We should be a better forum. My opinion anyway.

I'm suggesting the opposite. Why get triggered or have your buttons pushed, today's membership here and those you see making charges of racism and nazi and gestapo....they're doing their own integrity more harm than those they attempt to accuse. If you don't know real racism, if you wouldn't know a Nazi of one blew a bugle up your ass, you should probably just refrain from making an asshat out of your arguments.

All the Nazi references are shameful. There is no one resembling a Nazi here or any where else. Anyone with even a passing by knowledge of the Nazis would know that. What the Nazis did can barely be understood much less copied.
