    I see your point, sir.

How 'bout it? You willing to play? After all, it is just a "sport".

    Not relevant to this discussion.

Okay, that was too stupid for me to even respond to it.
I was going to ask you after I noticed something in another thread... You live down in New Mexico and are big into the tactical firearm training stuff. Do you know a guy by the name of James Yeager?

Everyone who eats meat should understand that they are indeed killing the animal. It may not be by their hand but they should make no mistake about how it ended up on their plate.

Around here, lot's of folks hunt. They harvest Elk and Deer to fill their freezers. I have no problem with them whatsoever.

It is the clowns who make a game of it with no respect for the animal. They are killing it for fun, not for sustenance. Those people disgust me. There is not much that will piss me off faster than somebody shooting an Elk or something else, not getting a quick kill, then losing it and leaving a wounded animal out there. I mean, after all... that animal just exists to provide some entertainment for some piece of $#@! to go out and pretend he is a "man" for a couple of days a year. Between the incompetent ones and the trophy hunters who are after the biggest rack or a head to mount on their wall for bragging rights, I just have little tolerance for them.

They can experience the "Great Outdoors", sit around a campfire, drink their beer, tell their bull$#@! stories, all without killing something just for the Hell of it.

Taking a life to sustain your own or feed your family should be an act of reverence, done with respect and gratitude. If sport hunters really want to prove how "manly" they are, they should get a law passed that lets them hunt each other and the last one standing at the end of the season will have earned his bragging rights.
