What does that have to do with her qualifications? When the law means whatever you want it to mean knowing what it was written to mean is irrelevant.

My biggest question is her apparent meteoric rise. I think vast experience on the bench is an important qualifications for a SCOTUS nominee and she doesn't appear to have a lot of that real world experience

Probably the most ludicrous attempt to stop the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett is the suggestion that she is a mother--and therefore cannot also work adequately on the Supreme Court.

If that were the case, one wonders: Just how did she manage to work on the Seventh Circuit Court, while being a mother?

It does, in any case, send an important message: Women cannot work outside the home, and be good mothers simultaneously.

One hopes that women will remember this message from Democrats, when the former go to the polls this November...

Wow where did that claim come from 1950? They have already attacked her religion why not motherhood. Many of them seem to see no benefit in fatherhood so what the hell.
