Please - Nobody is blaming Trump for the virus. We are blaming his RESPONSE.

Only 35% (give or take a point or two) think he's doing a good job.

This election will be about a) the virus and b) Donald's fitness for office.

do we realize it isn't really trump's response to the virus? it is actually his team's response? i understand that the buck stops with the man in charge but in this situation his advisors are who really drove our response. the disingenuousness of the left is their praise for fauci and their condemnation of trump. fauci has said so himself that trump did everything fauci wanted him to do.

That's where the ad fails in my opinion--it didn't draw a clear link between Trump and deaths caused by the virus. The first part of the ad was pretty good -- playing on Sully's life and life-saving action -- but the writers dropped it after that. They failed to make the vital connection they needed to make in order to win votes, in my opinion.

Well, no surprise there. You normally fail to draw ANY link even when presented with irrefutable TRUTH.

The other 65% are stupid and obviously are not familiar with our system of government and the limitation put on the office of the Executive. I suspect that is because you think government should be all powerful (as long as you are the ones in charge).

Mature people do their own due diligence, think for themselves, and make up their own minds. Sully does not sway my vote anymore than any other endorsement for or against any particular candidate.


Compare that ad to the news today that the DNI has released documentation that hitlery herself was behind the fake Trump / Russia collusion bull.
Seriously, they got her signing off on this completely contrived crap.

My father was also an airline pilot. He didn't land in any rivers but did bring a plane full of passengers in safely when the landing gear collapsed once. If he were still alive I feel certain he would vote for Trump. He once said to me that he thought JFK was "too socialist" so I doubt he'd vote Biden, but I doubt he'd claim being a good pilot qualifies you to select politicians anyway.
