Its a debate for a job that requires aggressiveness.

This wasn't a woman's club debate.

Short of assaulting Trump, what should he have done? Scream at him or use foul language to get his attention? Trump demonstrated his disrespect for the debate process and that included disrespect for the moderator. The only remedy for such behavior in a debate is to remove the obnoxious debater's ability to communicate i.e. mute their mic when it's not their turn to speak.

Biden didn't $#@! up his words but he looked barely alive and on substance he was garbage as usual. Who the $#@! in their right mind would vote for someone who would give us another shut down, this time an unconstitutional federally mandated one? That describes the ideal democrat party leader -- a powerless dictator. Deep state, which is presently running the Biden show (as well as the Biden pie hole) can do anything they want inside or outside the law and Biden will simply babble away until something draws public attention away from whatever crimes they are trying to pull. Democrats will marvel and applaud him for putting together a quasi-intelligible sentence. He would eventually need to be propped up on some kind of support to keep from falling over, which would be difficult to conceal without AI help. You can look for that too.

This election, however, deep state will mainly strive very hard to preserve the power they have built up over the past 50 years. Trump has taken down a lot of it, but it is vast. Ask any think tank.

I thought he looked frail and physically weak. Trump blew a great opportunity to expose Biden as weak, frail and not very mentally sharp. Instead he flapped his gums and gave the media what they needed to take the focus off Biden.

If I was one of Trump’s political advisors I would have quit immediately after that debate. Obviously Trump won’t listen to anyone’s advice.

Sure, he did. He forgot more than once that he was addressing the President of the United States. He came off as typical Biden... Not very bright, rude, and a congenital liar.

You left out one thing; yes, he was addressing the president of the United States, however he was addressing the president of the United States who wasn't acting presidential both there and during his entire term. That would make it accurate.

Remember, there are 33 days to election day and we'll find out who the American people feel is a liar.

I think he gained points by keeping alive and coherent. He lost points by only taking in generalities and refusing to say yes or no on certain questions.

Trump lost more points in both our opinions because of his constant interruptions. He also refused to answer yes/no questions.

Chris Wallace also lost points with both of us by bringing up a long refuted "..and some of them are good people" question, then also getting into all the shouting.

At one point all three of them were talking/shouting at the same time.

That was NOT a debate. It was a bar room argument over politics.

Joe was on the verge of melting down several times. Each time Trump saved him by interrupting. All Trump had to do was chill and let Joe keep talking. He would have dementiaed out.
