Exactly. Just open the polls for more days. Start 5 business days earlier. Let them drip in. You can actually control the day they come by first letter of last name.

The emboldened is spot-on. The problem lies in ballot harvesting and non-solicited ballots. There is, however, a checks and balances process in place that can (if used correctly) pinpoint fraudulent voting...at least to a degree.

The second problem is the USPS. I live in the county where 800 ballots being mailed out to voters (solicited ones) were lost at USPS. They were eventually found, but it caused big problems. Then, some of the folks who voted by mail never had their votes counted. No one really knows why.

I live in a deep red state so nothing is going to throw that out of balance, but swing states could be a nightmare come election day.

If we run into an electoral situation whereby the House chooses, we all know what's going to happen. If SCOTUS has to rule on a vote recount -- who knows what will happen?

Actually there are problems with solicited mail in ballots. They are rejected at a statistically significant rate. Each rejected ballot can be contested in court. I expect there will be a lot of lawsuits over this.

The elction is still over a month away and there have already been problems reported "Human Error" I am sure
