When I lived in NE Pennsylvania, we had 3 feet of snow... On Mother's Day. That pretty much convinced me to go south....

Due to a family emergency I'm cutting my trip across the southern US short. We receive our second COVID shot next week in Pheonix and will be be heading back to Washington the next day.

We've been on the road since mid September of last year. A lot of it has been frustrating because of these idiotic COVID restrictions. The only problem is that we are leaving an area where these restrictions are being lifted or ignored and going back to Washington which is as over regulated as you can get.

While, IIRC, you live in a beautiful area of Washington state, nothing could make we go back to a place overwhelmed with highly toxic and sanctimonious twits abound. That said, I have family in Seattle who are terrific people, who were are trying to convince to come back East, north or south....

Got the first shot- Pfizer. My arm is a bit sore even this morning. No lump though.

Not sure if it is related, but I got more deep sleep last night than I normally do (if the Fitbit app measures sleep stages accurately).
