Hot and humid again. Can't wait (of course I can) for cool weather. In fact, started early prep for sidewalk snow removal. Got a third party to tell a new neighbor that his hedge was impeding on my ability to navigate the sidewalk. Today, that new neighbor, Wayne was out clearing brush so I personally thanked him and apologized for being an $#@!, which of course, I believe I've earned. While out chatting, an ambulance roared up the street and pulled into a driveway a few houses down. They hauled the guy, 76 or so, off to the hospital and he seemed awake and coherent. He's overweight, drinks too much and doesn't exercise. Other than that, he's fine.

Next door to John, Is George & Kathy's house. George, my retired mailman, was cleaning gutters a few years ago, tipped his ladder over and cashed in his ticket. Kathy tried to stay put, but the house was too much for her and she recently sold. I can see the gal that must of bought Kathy's is checking on John and also working on her new pad. I introduced myself, said she looked familiar and told her about my snow removal program. Turns out she bought a house, two blocks down, also on my snow route, about a year ago. Could tell she had dough and spent it freely on the first acquisition. Really looks nice, although she must have gotten a deal on cement lions. Both houses, now have their fair share. Hey, to each their own.

In short order, she's got the second house really looking good as well. She must have spotted by major brush removal project. "Karen" (I kid you not), had a full size Trump figurine out front, only until he lost. She's replaced it with a "Bentley", fresh from Vegas, supposedly from Kim Kardashian's private stock and a p/u truck with Carhart interior. My neighbor next door said they only make about a hundred a year. She's got four or five other new vehicles. Karen, I suspect, will be an interesting addition to the neighborhood. If she's got (she definitely has) money to burn, maybe she'll buy my place! Word is she cashed in on the death of her daughter in a car crash and someone else said she told them she won the lottery in Tennessee. Do I really care? I think not.

I'm just stewing. The credit card got hit again. They shut it down and said I'll get a new one in 5 days. Now I have to list all updates I have to do. First stop is the cell phone company.

All for $1.84 charge from San Pedro, Costa Rica.

Are you thinking you may look good driving that Bentley?
