I dunno, maybe there's some kind of point there...somewhere. A 2018 Pew Research poll found that 17% of Americans thought that interracial marriage was "morally wrong" - 28% of the Republicans and 12% of the Democrats.

Then of course there was the 2011 poll of Mississippi Republicans wherein 46% not only disapproved of interracial marriage, they thought that it should be illegal.

You know, it's funny: I was told just a short time ago that members on this forum almost never complain about there being too many minorities in commercials...and here I think this is the second or third thread on the subject in a week. Hunh.

You want true and realistic representation in television commercials? Do you imagine that most people who drink beer are young, slim, good-looking people who spend all their time shooting pool in well-lighted bars or playing volleyball on the beach?

The point is that the commercials are inherently racist and politically correct. I don't make the commercials...leftist pr firms do. I comment on them pointing out their social engineering and hypocrisy and you guys clueless ignorance.

The new ones feel an obligation, I guess, to feature at least one lesbian, one gay man, one tranny......did I leave any out?

That's why I end up watching all those old shows.
