As for Silverchair and the others posted they had no problem making lots of Money in America. If they took some of that away from some suckers preparing for the violent revolution all the better.

In fact a friend of mine who was working at the LA Forum back in the day told me an interesting story about confronting members of Communist influenced "Rage Against the Machine" backstage. When asked about all the money they were making and why they did not give it back to "the people" their only reply was "Hey Man, we have to make a living."

Good music does not mean these people have special insights about politics or anything else for that matter, so try to enjoy without all the HATE!

Go back and read the OP again. Nowhere did I say Americans are "better than" anyone else. I said we are "exceptional" and that video proves it.

That doesn't mean Australians can't be exceptional as well. Had that happened in Australia with Australians, you would be saying the same thing.

American exceptionalism referred to our federalism style of government. Bottom - up governance. It was and is unique in human history- at least on its scale.

We have sort of killed that concept on our own.
