Looks like Bolivia is back on track.

I was sure this would happen .....another illegal regime operation bites the dust . Evo Morales may even return to the big chair , eventually . The coup was a complete waist of time and money .

Little more complicated than that. The Bolivian Constitution has term limits and Evo Morales tried to amend the constitution to permit a 4th term. The referendum was defeated. Nevertheless, Morales went to court because, catch this, HE PACKED THE COURT.
And they said he could run for a 4th term. He ran, he won, and then he was deposed by a coup. The coup declared itself to be only an interim thing and indeed now in subsequent elections, Evo Morales' PARTY has prevailed. So be it.

Bolivia is an example of how people can contort the rule of law in a way where the government loses legitimacy.

I think the bottom line here is that Bolivian voters have spoken , and the pre-coup government has been re-instated , in spite of the external interference . Bolivia has taken back control of their own destiny............lookout , here comes a bag full of sour-grape sanctions from the failed coup masters, who don't really believe in democracy .

But they did speak with respect to the referendum with respect to Morales. They wanted the party but not the man. Fine.

The coup was a legitimate expression of the natural right of revolution that actually respected the right of the people to alter or abolish its government.

This is an example, and a warning to the US, of what happens what political courts make bizarre rulings that no impartial person could ever sustain. Don't become illegitimate and complain about the consequences.

The kangaroo court in Bolivia made a ruling that nobody in their right $#@!ing mind respected.

I don't keep up with Bolivian politics. But I wish you took as much interest in the coup tried stateside. I wish as much attention on Biden and family taking obvious payoffs were of importance. I wish that people understood our press is fully corrupted and that can be the demise of our society.

All of these things are painfully true and people don't care one bit.
I am tired of everyone fighting with each other. This is all by design.

Bolivia started off, not in much better position than Venezuela and is going to continue their slide. The average person in Bolivia lives on half the poverty rate of the USA.
