    What are the Dolphins thinking?

3-3, two in a row, beat the Niners and Fitz playing great football. Soooo They name Tua the starter. I think it's too soon and bad timing. Fitz is on a roll and the Dolphins are actually in contention! Maybe that position is too strange and uncomfortable for them?
Don't get me wrong this kid is their future but is he really their right now?

Things could be worse. You could be a Cowboys fan like I am.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is getting 10 million this year and would need to be resigned. There is no guarantee that he would even want to sign again.

Tua needs playing time to get him ready for next season and if he gets hurt then they have a ready backup.
They were crazy to spend 30 million for Tua. Great quarterbacks make it look easy. Tua doesn't.

Either way they are looking for another quarterback for next season. Either a starter for big money or a backup for less.

Unless they were only thinking about this year then they are probably doing the right thing. Either he makes it or he ends up in a trade. If Fitzpatrick was 5 years younger then I would be agreeing with you.

Poor Peri. There is nothing more disappointing than being a Cowboys fan.

LOL. I'm actually aNiners fan but the Fish are one of my favorite NFC teams. IMO Jerry Jones has never gotten the concept that you a team not a collection of talent. What else could explain their chroinc under preformanec year after year?

I think they should be thinking about this year. If it doesn't pan out they could make the change in a few weeks and Tua could still get plenty of running away from pass rushers experience. Also if he falls flat on his face what will happen to the imfamous quaterback pyche? BTW, don't they have rookies locked up for 3 years? If so why would they spend that kind of money on him?
I guess we shall see what we shall see.

I grew up with the Patriots, so while I was a loyal fan I also liked to pick a team that won occasionally. So I used to follow Oakland and Miami. I would like to see Miami return to long term strength. If they have to take a chance then this loser/screwed up year is probably the best time. Who knows, they may not even get to finish the season. it's 2020.

Fitzgerald is a unique QB. He can look like a hall of famer for a few games then look like a random dude off the streets was thrown into a game.
