I think before making such silly statements , you should do some homework on BHP .....(or as they are now called BHP-Billiton) . They were the worlds largest mining and steel producing company....then (after merging with British company Billiton) they shut down steel production , and let it all go to China - preferring to dig holes and sell iron ore , instead of value adding the resource . Quite a stupid business move , as it turned out . This was done , basically , because of the Lima Declaration.........and China did not write the Lima Declaration.

I gave them out as stocking stuffers few years ago, they are great to keep attached to dash cams/road trip requirements.

Was mucking about with it one day, plugging in some device and I noticed the writing on the back. 'Made in China'. I just smiled to myself, exactly as PJL mentions. Many items to enhance your life exist on Amazon. Made in China comforts. Purchase prior was a monocular. US manufactured, Cleveland Ohio.
I have a couple of those solar rechargers. They are pretty handy.

Walmart, how do you think they'd do in Australia?

Sydney, I believe your Microsoft HQ, yes?

And ain't Home Depot about your most successful appliance and like kitchenware source in Australia?

    I could be wrong.
We don't have Walmart or Home Depot in Australia ( Microsoft is a bit hard to ignore). However , we do follow the same useless corporate model , with similar companies . It all began in the mid 60's , with the proliferation of large supermarkets , whose main purpose was to monopolize as much of the consumer market as possible , thereby slowly squeezing out most small operators and local general stores . These grew into Malls , to become the brain-dead cultural abomination the we in the West all are forced to suffer . Needless to say , the closer they crawl towards complete monopoly , the higher the prices go , along with a continuing decrease in the quality and nutritional value of the chemically grown , perfect looking produce......and the crappy meat ? Some of that hormone filled garbage would actually glow in the dark ! ......and people wonder why there is a cancer epidemic .

As far as I'm aware , everything made in China has to go though an American registered importer , to gain entry into the US market , the same as it does here in Australia ( please tell me if I'm wrong). If that's the case , how can China be accused of dumping ? They simply supply to the importer's order . ( it's amazing what fake news can achieve when people are trained to abandon facts and common sense ). It was the importer that put your US manufacturers out of business , not China .

I believe you order online off Home Depot, no? And I knew no Aussie Walmarts, I was asking how you think it would do. I mean I bet the supermarkets you refer to are doing ok, a Walmart would probably be a big hit down under. Course, you'd never shop there, huh?

Amazon doing well? We need to open more business with you Lot, PJL. You're being Cold Warred and don't know it.
