Yeah I have a small cat rescue. I bring them at my job we do exam, give wormer, vaccines and spay-neuter.

I had place only few because often people dont fit with my philosophy.
The cat I place (adoption) have a Vet file and is on sign contract and have a microchip done.
The cat have to be an inside cat only. And new owner have to give me news and photos once a month. If no more able to keep for any reason they have to bring back the cat to me.

Some cats I know I will never let go ..LOL I'm too in love with.

So cat rescue/ is a LOT of work. I have 8 litter boxes that I clean 2x a day. Dry food, can food, treats, fresh water all the time.
I give them safe toys (not all toys are safe)
Floor vaccum and wash everyday

Cost me lots of $ time and care and ...love but it's more a passion for me, so ..I dont care. I deal with it!

I have a room just for the cats (boys and girls) but new ones have to be sterilized before to be with others. Quarantine (30 days)

I have some other part in the room for cats that dont get along good together

It must be nice to work at a place like that. My vet bills are higher than my medical costs. My wife is a stray magnet. There must be signs on the bottom of fences with our address on them. We have converted a couple of ferrell ones, that the vet told us not to bring back.

This one was our biggest save and a real tough guy.
He lost half his tail when he and his sister wandered up to the house. It took about 3 months to get him to come around but his tail kept getting infected. I told him that I was taking him to see the vet. He chewed the rest of it off.
This cat is tough. We get along great. My doctor asked me if I raised roses. Nope, just cats.
