The Dodgers' right fielder used proper body mechanics to throw the ball.
The Dodgers' first baseman, who cut off the accurate throw, used sloppy throwing mechanics and thus cost the Dodgers the game.
If thrown using proper body mechanics, an inaccurate throw will either arrive at the target high or low.
If thrown sidearm (like the first baseman threw), an inaccurate throw will either be left or right of the target. And in this case, the throw was off that way.
Tell me why a thirty-something mom from Lexington, Kentucky figured out the proper body mechanics so she could teach her daughter, but a professional baseball player making millions of dollars a year still uses sloppy throwing mechanics?
