I don't see anything wrong with appointiong ACB to the supreme court. That said, republicans did go back on a precedent that you shouldn't appoint a SCOTUS judge in an election year.
There is no such precedent. Obama appointed a justice in an election year.
That's what's complete BS here. That's why the leftr is outraged. Those were the excuses republicans made 4 years ago.
No such thing. The ONLY reason why Obama's liberal justice was not even given a hearing is because the Senate was controlled by the Republicans.
You have Lindsay Graham practically swearing in 2016 that if the roles were reversed, he wouldn't appoint a conservative judge to the supreme court and he went back on that. You know damn well you'd be screaming BS if democrats pulled that crap.
The Democrats pulled much worse crap than that. Bottom line, read the Constitution. Says NOTHING about appointing justices in an election year. The party who controls the Senate decides on who is confirmed.

The “rule” that you shouldn’t confirm a justice during a presidential election year is bull$#@!. But, it was bull$#@! when McConnell and the Republicans pulled it in 2016 and promised that they would do the same during the final year of a Republican president’s term.
The only think the Republicans "pulled" was the fact that Obama had so disgusted the country that he lost control of the House and the Senate, so the Republicans were able to do to his nominee what the Democrats did to Robert Bork and tried to do to Kavanaugh. And they lost.
Democrats were right to try to hold them to their promises, as worthless as they turned out to be. The Republicans are hypocrites and liars and I hope that the Democrats stop with this nonsense of trying to maintain decorum by working with them within the system.
That's rich. Calling Republicans hypocrites and liars in THIS political season? That's like a street hooker wagging her finger at a nun for morality.
They need to add seats to the Court to counteract the Republican abuses of power while they held the majority in the Senate.
Name even ONE abuse of power from the Republicans in the Senate at that time. Apply the Constitution to it. What EXACTLY did the Republicans do that violated the Constitution? Give us a link from a RELIABLE SOURCE.
Or admit you are lying and making all this crap up.
A or B.
