Yeah, we've been over this. If it was 'designed to fail' the Republicans wouldn't try to undermine it's every aspect and let the damn thing implode on it self. They couldn't even repeal it though.

You pay for abortions for the same reason women and young people are paying for viagra pills. There's plenty of stuff in there that are covered but would unlikely to be never used.

Over 50,000 abortions last year does not qualify as "unlikely to be never used" does it?
Viagra is what got them into trouble to begin with. It shouldn't be sold to anyone under 35. But it's ok as long as my tax dollars are there to bail them out of an unwanted pregnancy.............

Shouldn't in this case the man receive just as much criticism for not using a condom or not pulling out? Although it's true that maintenance of a woman's body is generally more expensive than a man's, I think what they were going for is to put as many people as possible into the same boat. Where insurance is affordable to as many people as possible.
