No, it means that, in large part thanks to government stimulus programs, the economy has rebounded from the bottom, but we’re still well below the levels of economic activity pre-pandemic. The net economic contraction from the beginning of this year to today is roughly the same as at the worst point during the 2008-09 great recession.
