How Ryan Day is turning Ohio State football into Quarterback U.

A sophomore quarterback at St. Joseph's Prep in Philadelphia, McCord was among a group of coveted recruits Penn State hosted on Sept. 30, 2018. A White Out crowd of 110,889 filled the stands as the No. 9 Nittany Lions took on No. 4 Ohio State. That week, PSU coach James Franklin recalled former tight end Jesse James once telling him, "If you come to the White Out, you're committing."

And McCord did leave State College impressed that night -- but with the other team. "What they did with Dwayne [Haskins], I really liked, and seeing that in person was really eye-opening," McCord said. "That's when I started to fall in love with Coach [Ryan] Day's offense." Haskins rallied Ohio State from a 26-14 fourth-quarter deficit with two touchdown passes and the Buckeyes won 27-26. He went on to one of the greatest quarterback seasons in Big Ten history: 4,831 pass yards, a 70% completion percentage, 50 touchdowns, eight interceptions.

ND doesn't belong on the same field as Clemson.

Ouch. Unless we don't have our quarterback.

I was wondering if I was going to see DG here, rubbing some salt in the wound this morning.

Little Coastal Carolina at 7-0 and the #15 spot still makes for some fun to watch. They were predicted to be last in the Sunbelt Conference this year.

I'm here. Buckeyes are 3-0 but disappointed with the defense in the second half. They took their boot off the neck and let them get a few easy scores on trick plays. I'd have taken a time out and made them run laps right then and there. Anyways, I think ND is fools gold. Still not sure about the OSU D, but the O looks really good. Justin Fields is the real deal.

The question this a.m. at our 3 mile walk was: If you were drafting first - Sunshine (Trevor Lawrence)

I was thinking the same exact thing this morning. The price of success in the NCAA. Then you see what happened to LSU without their quarterback this year.
I was trying to figure out if Uiagalelei would really be ready or if we just saw a great team holding him up.

This is the first time I’ve seen OSU play. Their current QB doesn’t look special.

Fields looks to be in way over his head.

C'mon man. He has no line and no receivers. Not a good day but he has no supporting cast.
