So what does Big Mouth do? I mean, he's spent years telling us that God is on Clemson's side, right? After the officials beat Ohio State with the scoop and score reversal, he made a big deal about how God is on Clemson's side. Now a so-so season and what? God is no longer on Clemson's side?

They made a big mistake in recruiting a QB that was not ready to play college ball.
Losing to unrated NC State was depressing. The front line is weak so the rookie has had no time to figure out what to do.

All I can think of when I hear "God is on our side, related to college football, was a cartoon of two priests walking through an ivy covered walkway, one with Boston Collage and one with Notre Dame ("the holy war games") on their respective hassocks, one saying (with a smile) "God is on our side" while the other with a grimace is saying "God was on our side." But I can't find that cartoon anywhere...
