So her physical attributes make her special? She should be allowed to do something that interrupts other people, because she is old and blind. While most people give a lot of leeway for special attributes, it doesn't mean that she is entitled to that leeway.

What does me 'growing a pair' have to do with anything? How am I a 'pussie' for not being please to be intertupted by someone trying to hand me a tract while I stroll through a public park enjoying my solitude?

Did you enjoy the Hare Krishna's interrupting your trip to your gate at the airports? Or dropping what you are doing to answer your door while the Jehova's Witness tried to convert you? How about the calls on your cell phone to sell you insurance or an extended car warrantee?

    Look up the word unsolicited.

One also has to take the designation "blind" with a grain of salt. I've known several individuals who were legally "blind" but still had partial sight and got around perfectly well. If she is truly blind in the accepted sense, how does she even know where people are in order to approach them? Does someone go along with her and "aim" her in other people's direction? Does she wander around and offer a pamphlet to whoever she happens to bump into?

She suffers from retinitis pigmentosa, so chances are she has some residual sight as it is very rare for someone with RP to become completely blind.

This attitude may be why people hate religious fanatics.

You seem to be a fanatic. You insist you have a right to harass me instead of being a polite human being and leaving me alone. My pair is just fine. You need to work on your conscience and your manners.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

Why is it so important for them to try to spread their religion in public places.
    I agree...leave me alone.

For much the same reason they are compelled to place religious symbols, like crosses and Ten Commandments monuments, in public places, when there are countless private homes and church properties to put them on: they are marking what they believe to be their territory. With proselytizing there is also the added incentive to play the "More pious than thou" card - to show everyone, believer and non-believer alike, what a devoted soldier you are.
