How long did it take you to get over it totally (if you don't mind sharing)?

I was deathly ill from the first week in April til the end of May. I was rushed to the hospital on 26 May and put on a drip. I went home the next day and just started feeling better very quickly although it took a couple of weeks to regain my strength and a bit of an appetite. I still couldn't eat well.

I had a zillion tests and they still couldn't pinpoint what it was other than saying my blood work was "deranged".

I think it was a supplement I was taking. Ashwagandha. I still don't know for certain but I'm pretty sure that's what it was.

Oh, my, gosh! Everything we put in our bodies has an effect.

I am so happy you are better!

Thanks Perianne and I hope you get better soon too. Once you stop taking whatever the culprit is the body tends to shed it fast.

Whether it's a scripted medication or a supplement we need to listen to our bodies.

Best luck and best recovery, Perianne!

My problem is contrary -- overeating and gaining much weight. 158 kg.

    Thank you for sharing.

I drink a lot of diet beverages, thus I limit my sugar intake.

I hope everything works out best for you!

Even though I weigh 3.4 times more, this is a sad time for everyone who values Democracy. I am also devastated and exhausted.

Slim fast has 22 grams of sugar. It is trash.

Get a good quality meal replacement powder and make your own shakes.

Ashwagandha interacts with certain medication like immune suppressors, sedatives like benzos and central nervous system depressants. If you aren't taking one of those I doubt it caused your problems.
