I've been sick lately and have lost a LOT of weight. I am down to 97 pounds and probably need as many calories as I can consume.
But, before I got sick, I started looking to consume less sugar. My biggest source of sugar is from soft drinks, commonly called pop or soda. Perianne says "soft drinks".
Sugars from soft drinks are not healthy. Maybe it was time to change to some other drink.
So, I bought some Perrier (flavored sparking water), thinking since the spelling was close to "Peri" it must be tasty. It tasted like transmission fluid and I threw it out. I hesitated to pour it down the drain since it tasted so bad I thought it might contaminate the water system.
I then tried various teas, but not being a tea drinker I was out of luck. I figured out it is the fizz that I like when I am thirsty, so that led me back to carbonated something.
Today, I bought some Topo Chico. I have now found my new water. Very good carbonated water. Really it is just water with the fizz and no flavoring, but it is good enough.
Anyone have any opinions about any sparking waters (aka club soda, soda water, seltzer water, fizzy water, etc.)?
