I don't do flavored vodkas though.

Except someone gave me a bottle of vanilla vodka one time that was hideous. Then I decided to freeze it and mix it with setlzer and orange juice. Tasted exactly like a Creamsicle.

Half a tumbler of middle shelf vodka, ice, tomato juice, celery salt, worssessessterchire sauce, fresh cracked pepper, dash of Frank's red hot - or two, keep the celery stick and add a kosher dill pickle and bam!

Or dry martini, toss the vermouth, decent vodka and a very abused, smashed couple of jalapeno (fresh) slices.

Haven't had either of those in years, bourbon works for me.

1 cup of Dr. Pepper
1 shot of Vodka
1 Tablespoon of maraschino cherry juice
3 ice cubes


The Really Nasty

1 cup of Dr. Pepper
1 shot of Vodka
1 Tablespoon of maraschino cherry juice
1 Tablespoon of dark chocolate syrup
3 ice cubes



Unfortunately, I can't drink anymore, with the meds I take.

My favorite drink though is a Margarita. The Nasty's are my second fav.

Do you (or anyone in this thread) have a preferred brand? Being a martini drinker, I prefer a clean pure vodka, My favorite is Chopin (pure Polish potato vodka FTW) but lately Effen, from Holland, distilled with pure French wheat, has been tickling my fancy, so to speak. When chilled properly, a straight shot of either just leaves a cold feeling in your mouth, which is why some of my less tasteful friends don't like it ("It doesn't taste like anything" LOL that's the point!).
