ANything the right does to protect themselves or to prepare and you call that violence..yet...none of them have risen to the level of violence of your own side.

Family heritage is very relevant to many people, certainly including these descendants of KKK.

Actual individualists, i.e.: those who are not collectivists of one sort or another, judge the merits of each person based on each person's individual qualities. Pigeon-holing someone based on their ancestry or family history is a form of collectivism and a close analog of racism. And being proud of your ancestry is simply a lazy way of patting yourself on the back for something that YOU, as an individual, have not EARNED. It is the antithesis of the American mythos.
