So, Trump today tweeted out that the runoff is unnecessary and should be cancelled because "we will all win"* if you disregard the votes he's challenging in his law suits. He's already convinced his base that the entire Georgia election infrastructure is corrupt and cannot be trusted. He's going to drive Republican turnout down to the point that both Democrats will win these races. It's hilarious.

    ______
*It's funny that he's apparently too stupid to understand that there would still have to be a run off between Loeffler and Collins even if you removed all of Warnock's votes.

Even more funnier is you not knowing what took place with the Special Election and Collins. Plus not knowing why there wouldnt be a run off from their Special Election.

It doesn't matter if he conceded. If Loeffler failed to get 50% of the vote (which would be true even if you were to eliminate all Warnock votes), she didn't win. Georgia law would still require a runoff election.

Not in the Special Election. He endorsed Loeffler. 2 top vote getters move on. Top 2 Warnock and Loeffler.

There is a runoff in the special elections because no candidate got 50%. Trump stupidly tweeted out this morning that neither Georgia runoff is necessary because "we" all win if you disregard the votes his campaign is challenging. My point is that even if you were to throw out all of Warnock's votes, Loeffler still doesn't get to 50%. A runoff for the special election would be required by law, no matter what Collins does or says.

Yeah Trump just wanted you leftists to connipt. It was put out yesterday that Trump is going to Georgia to stump for the Repubs on Friday. Loeffler's race had 21 candidates. The top 2 move onto the General. Which then 50% is required.

She will continue to hold the interim position until she or someone else wins the special election held on November 3, 2020, with the subsequent runoff election, and is officially certified. A primary election did not take place; all candidates, regardless of party, were placed on the same ballot (a jungle primary). Democrat Raphael Warnock received the most votes with 32.9%, and Loeffler came in second with 25.9%.
As no candidate received more than 50% of the vote, the top two candidates advanced to a runoff election, to be held on January 5, 2021.[2] The winner of the runoff will hold the position for the remainder of Isakson's term, which ends on January 3, 2023.....snip~

It is also known as a jungle primary[1]. In most cases there are two winners who advance to the general election, in which case it is also called a top-two primary.

I understand all that. It doesn't change the fact that Trump's tweet was stupid and factually incorrect (and likely to suppress Republican turnout for the runoffs). There is no way to just award the election to Loeffler without a runoff.

Well you should have understood how Trump was just playing with the Lefts Heads.

Highly unlikely that Trump will suppress Republican turnout. Everyone in the Politicos knows what Schumer said. At least those on the Right do. Hugh Hewitt makes sure of that every single day.
