Suburbs turnout drop-off in Georgia bodes poorly for Raphael Warnock.....

A Georgia district attorney race should set off political alarm bells for Rev. Raphael Warnock and his team as the Democratic Senate candidate tries to unseat appointed Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler.


Deborah Gonzalez, a Democrat, won her special election runoff Tuesday to become Georgia's next Western Judicial Circuit district attorney. But voter turnout in her jurisdiction's key Democratic stronghold was low. And that's a trend Warnock will have to buck if he hopes to beat Loeffler on Jan. 5.


Polls show both races are effectively tied. But Georgia elections that have happened since Nov. 3, like the judicial race Gonzalez won, show a marked fall-off in Democratic support in some areas the party needs to win strongly if its Senate candidates have hopes of prevailing.


University of Georgia political science professor Charles Bullock warned Warnock that the results were "a straw in the wind.".....snip~

So, Trump today tweeted out that the runoff is unnecessary and should be cancelled because "we will all win"* if you disregard the votes he's challenging in his law suits. He's already convinced his base that the entire Georgia election infrastructure is corrupt and cannot be trusted. He's going to drive Republican turnout down to the point that both Democrats will win these races. It's hilarious.

*It's funny that he's apparently too stupid to understand that there would still have to be a run off between Loeffler and Collins even if you removed all of Warnock's votes.

Well the infrastructure is corrupt. In the short run, power in the Senate is more important, but in the long run, there's somewhat of an illusion of choice in our elections anyway.

Loeffler destroyed the Deviate Warnock in last night's debate. Had the mope so rattled he wouldnt even answer questions from the Moderator. Tried to play on his career of being a pastor. Yeah one that shoots his piehole off going political most of the time.


Tried to say he isnt for defunding the police. Then she hit him with his remarks calling cops, thugs, gangsters, and oppressors. Now that all of Collins voters are behind her. The Deviate doesnt stand a chance.
