I think he knows these raccoons rather well. It seems that the mothers of these raccoons introduced them to him as babies. They are snarky with each other but they seem rather fond of him. He's certainly fattening them up for their winter hibernations.

They are wild animals- unless he domesticated them. And if he did that, things will probably go bad for them in the wild if there are predators around.

It sounds worse than it is. We have a lot of raccoons around here and they are always snarking at each other when they find food. They have so much fur that they don't hurt each other with those bites. It's more attitude than anything else.

He just feeds them and pets them sometimes. They are still very much wild. He said later in the video that most of them would move off to other territories and he'd have a whole new crop next year. He just loves animals and likes to help them survive. He also feeds the birds and has two cats in the house. He's just a sweet old guy.

They know who feeds them for sure! I didnt realize Raccoons could be that close to a human without being aggressive. I loved the animals but the guy made me sad. He seemed very lonely. I hope he wasn't

My wife and I fed the raccoons twice a day for years. We had about 20-25 every morning and every evening. We had racoons bring their babies each year. They let us pet them with no complaints. We loved having the coons come every day. We fed them about 20 pounds of medium grade cat food every week.

I think he's alone, but he has a lot of 4 legged friends who he enjoys. He seems to be a gregarious guy. Perhaps he's more alone because of CV19, but I'd be more concerned about someone who is by themselves without even the company of furry friends.
