I agree, they are but they're also among the "propositional nation" crowd. That's why I stopped subscribing to National Review. I was just telling @Captain Obvious yesterday that I stopped subscribing to The Economist because it was an expensive weekly magazine and I just couldn't keep up. I'd read a handful of articles every week. It just wasn't worth it. With National Review it was ideological. The magazine changed its orientation and I wasn't going there for news but analysis and commentary.

The Economist is the publication of record for the EU. They are clearly globalists.

I noted in my thread Paradigm Shift that the GOP can capture minority and blue collar voters if they stick to "bread and butter" issues like taxes, government spending, defense, school choice, law and order, etc. and skip all the PC nonsense the Democrats are famous for, they can go a long way with these groups.
