Once again Republicans have proven to be "catchy phrases" devoid of the facts - America has the dubious honor of being currently tied with Russia and Thailand as 10th in the list of countries by share of income of the richest one percent!


Take note that America is positioned among the world's oil sheikhs and oligarchs - not the other liberal democracies because the criteria for any healthy democracy is a more equal redistribution of wealth that provides for more "winners" and fewer "losers!"


Given that income doesn't even represent the largest source of wealth for America's 1%, the concentration of financial assets in private hands is far greater!


The $1 trillion Republican tax cut in the middle of a "bear market" that was counterproductive as a fiscal policy, was strictly designedas a means to to reward Republican contributors was financed by the American taxpayer - many of whom are now facing food shortages and possible eviction!


American "capitalism" is welfare for the wealthy!

That is an ignorant LIE. In a capitalist model, the best become wealthy. The hardest working and the smartest.

You don't like it because you have to keep an eye on the fryer all day long.

When I was young, idealistic & naive, I was a Democrat. As I grew older I became more conservative. Really, the Republican Party for me is the lesser of two evils. I'd rather belong to the Constitutionalist Party but Dem and Pub are the only two games in town.

Until the last four years it was often difficult to tell the two parties apart. Until the Democrats started stealing elections neither party could win strictly on the basis of the extremes of their party. The middle ground is much the same in either party. So, by appealing to the middle both parties began to look alike.
