Comparing politicians and media to prostitutes is an insult to prostitutes. Prostitutes provide a service to consenting adults. Prostitutes don't pretend to be something they're not. Prostitutes don't take money from other people without giving something of equal value in return. In other words, prostitutes aren't gigantic thieves and liars and hypocrites who destroy everything they touch, the way politicians and media do.

Prostitutes pretend to be something they aren't, all the time.

They just don't charge as much as politicians do.
