Take a $#@!? Outside is fine, apparently.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

I'm some 40 years away from being an expert anymore but I think that you neighbor smoking 1-2 packs a day is going to be a lot worse than him taking 4-5 tokes at a time.

I remember cleaning out a apartment of a heavy smoker one time. They had a special paint that took 2 coats just to try to get the room to stop smelling like smoke.

I want to know why people who DON'T smoke, or have MEDICAL issues with anything that produces secondhand smoke, have NO RIGHTS?!

I am not allergic to pure tobacco, I am extremely allergic to all of the toxic and deadly chemicals they put into tobacco for mainline manufactured cigarettes!! Yet, I have NO RIGHTS to protect myself from smokers that don't have ANY manners, respect, or consideration for other people.

And I've contacted the city I live in, the state, and the government about this several times, and guess what.......NO RESPONSE. So I contacted the city health department. I did get a response from them. The woman told me there are no laws protecting people that don't smoke against people that do smoke, aside from ordinances where you can and can't smoke in public.

There are many organizations that claim they are fighting for the people who are affected by smokers, degrading their quality of life and causing their medical problems to worsen. I've contacted several of these organizations, but have never received any response from any of them, so I have no idea whats going on with this problem.

But from what I keep seeing happening in government laws, the perpetrators keep getting more and more protection, while the victims keep getting shoved aside and ignored.

Moral of the story - do what I do and don't live anywhere on the west coast.

    Problem solved.

Smoking crack in SF apartments is probably kosher too.

Subjective nonsense borne of ignorance. Only skunk weed smells reminiscent of skunk, but it doesn't smell like a skunk. Cigarettes smell far worse than weed, and they make your clothes stink as well. Have you ever smelled a skunk up close?

    >>>>...it literally smells like skunk...

You are woefully behind the times. The wonders of underground capitalism have changed things since the bad old days when the only strain most people could get was Ditch Weed Skunk or Ditch Weed Diesel. Yes, there are some strains that smell like skunk. There are also some strains that smell like diesel fuel, or harsh chemicals, or lemons, or pineapple, or a pine forest, or blue cheese (yeech), or menthol, or sage, or vanilla, or any of dozens of other scents and tastes. It all depends on which terpenes* are present. Check out Leafly.com. They have a comprehensive** list here: https://www.leafly.com/strains

I don't smoke weed anymore, since the pandemic began. I prefer my lungs to be in the best shape possible, in case I catch Covid. But I do eat edibles. A couple of months ago someone sent me a gift pack of Blueberry Lambsbread buds, which I turned into Cannabutter. Makes awesome blueberry muffins.

*Terpenes are present in many foods. For example, the same terpene that makes a pineapple smell and taste the way it does in also in the weed strain Pineapple Upside Down Cake.

** Probably out-of-date. There are now thousands of strains, and more being bred every day.

Sure, you can buy tobacco. You just can't smoke it

This appears to be rather inconsistent.
