2 year old left at Memphis Goodwill with a note and change of clothes

    https://www.wmcactionnews5.com/2020/...-clothes-note/

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (WMC) - A shocking story. A 2-year-old child was dropped off by a man at a Goodwill drop-off location at 57 Stateline Rd. E. around 9:40 a.m. Monday.

Police say the child was abandoned with a bag of clothes and a note saying his mother couldn’t take care of him. Law enforcement acted quickly arresting the man in Shelby County.

”It’s terrible. It’s just terrible,” said one Southaven woman.

Poor little thing. That's horrible! I hope he finds a better home than the one he came from.

Always makes me wonder why some can have children that shouldn't while others that should can't ?

The worst of the worst to me are those who abuse children and animals. They don't deserve either.

There's something very wrong with a mother who can abandon her child like that.

    Very wrong.

Most mothers are like bears that love and protect their children, so when we see one who just abandons hers, it raises some huge red flags.

    This is really true.

I (personally) would not have a problem having child abusers sterilized. It's just not fair to any future children they might have.

And, it takes a very sick individual to abuse animals. I'm glad our laws are cracking down on the sickos.

Poor little baby. I think it's suspicious that it was a guy dropping off the child (did he take the child from the mother against her will?). Did something happen to the mother? If the mother really couldn't care for the child, why not call CPS and give the child up?

Dropping the child at Goodwill is at least better than some really horrible places where children have been abandoned.

The man did a service for this child. I thought many states had enacted laws for people to take these unwanted kids to a safe drop off place and then law enforcement and someone...hopefully not those accomplices to murder CPS, will take the child, protect the child, HOPEFULLY find a home with loving parents, and forget about the samaritan who at least had enough love to take the child to a safe drop off spot.
