    Christmas Lives In Our Hearts

May the joyous light of that First Christmas live in your soul today and forever like a candle whose burning flame no wind can ever extinguish. Live a Blessed Christmas, everyone!

It’s Christmas Day 2020, and even among dire political threats of the coming “darkest of winters”, the lights are still on all over the world, warming hearts and souls.

The plodding sound of the donkey hooves carrying Mary to the humble Bethlehem birthplace of our Lord and Savior could not only be heard some 2000 years ago, but could be heard only hours ago last night as they can be every Christmas Eve. Just as the politics of that day never stopped the sure-footed donkey from its steadfast destination, nothing on Earth could ever stop it now.

Fake News may try to belittle and ridicule it, but can NEVER change, in any meaningful way, The Holy Night that Christ was born.

Millions of believers of many faiths celebrate the Birthday of Jesus no matter what is happening down here on troubled Earth.

The Season of Goodwill upon us now may be smaller than a little child, but in its own way, is far mightier than any other force.

No Christmas movie could ever take the place of the epic event that took pace 2000 years ago in Bethlehem—an event that returns to our hearts and souls each and every year.

No media-delivered gimmickry, such as Washington D.C.’s mayor suggesting this Christmas Eve should be replaced as Dr. Fauci’s 80th birthday could ever be taken to heart.

Instead we keep the lights on in our hearts to celebrate True Christmas and walk to Baby Jesus on donkey’s feet.

“For unto us a child is born, a Savior who is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11)

This morning, we faithfully join the shepherds and the Wise Men in adoration of the Child in the Manger.

We don’t ’know where the New Year of 2021 will take us, but we do know that wherever it is, our Creator will be there with us, as He always is.

No matter how worrisome politicians and the media try to portray the future, be a child at heart.

May the joyous light of that First Christmas live in your soul today and forever like a candle whose burning flame no wind can ever extinguish.

    Live a Blessed Christmas, everyone!
