    Stargate SG1

Who here is a fan of this franchise?

And if so, would you be interested in seeing a reboot (either a movie or a TV series) set in current day?

When out walking, look out for PROBlems. You know: maskless Plague Rats On Bicycles who blow past you without giving you time to get out of the way.

Ah, CONServatives, the Masters of Projection (MOPs). With CONServatives, every accusation is a confession. Weird, that.

    I am, and yes.

Maybe not a reboot, but a continuation. I'm sick of reboots. The story has already been told, come up with something new, or just continue the story from where it left off.
More like digging the Stargate out of mothballs for having to save the earth from something.

By "reboot" I meant the return of an old villain... the Goa'uld. Or at least one Goa'uld.

I always thought that the Goa'uld were treated quite badly by the writers in the TV series. With the rather tepid exception of Ba'al, they were pretty one dimensional "villains of the month." No depth.

They were, however, in my opinion vastly superior as villains to the absolutely one dimensional Replicators or (God forbid) the Ori.

A miniseries (a la GoT) or a movie where there is a complex Goa'uld anti-hero sparring with SGC in a secret war right here in Earth might have some traction.

    Thoughts?
