Why do Tyrants want to control Other's lives?

What is it about some people that they are not concerned with their own lives but more interested in controlling wide swathes of other peoples' lives. and it isn't just men...it's women too. Yes...we know they use fear.

Tyrants Use FEAR To Seize Power, Your Freedoms, and Control (modernsurvivalblog.com)

Some people have a desire to control others. Many also have sociopath tendencies (lacking in remorse, other traits). They often rise up in politics, and in big business. You might say that many (or all to an extent) who have risen to the top (e.g. mayors / governors) have played the game well. And when the opportunity arose to have unprecedented (in American history) control over the population, they salivated and took it.

I can only imagine the “really bad one’s” out there (some of whom have shown their true colors within our own nation and/or those watching this unfold globally). Others waiting in the wings. The ease at which the people within the US succumbed to all this without nary a whimper of challenge or resistance. You might say this was as test case of sorts (even if by accident).
Now they’re instilling renewed Covid fear as they whip up the frenzy for CR2 (Covid Round 2). Fear.

Okay. I didn’t mean for this to be entirely about Covid. But I do want to point out how certain state governors and mayors were (still are) especially tyrannical having seized this power due to ramped fear among the populous. Worst offenders? Washington state. California. New York. Michigan. Others…

Heck, our governor is a Republican. It could have been much worse.

    However here’s the thing…

They have all gotten a taste for it.

How are you going to take away their steak without getting bit?

Psychology of Tyrants: History and Observations | Historic Mysteries

As we read history, it soon becomes clear that power tends to corrupt. From ancient Greek times to the 21st century there appear to be more tyrannical rulers than those who held the welfare of the people paramount.

    Muammar Gaddafi

Ancient people knew this very well and were the first to coin the concept. In the ancient world, there was an ongoing fear of rulers who had their own selfish agenda. The ancient world was in constant search of honest and forthright leaders. Seldom were they found.

Whether we search the history of the ancient world, the world of the middle ages, or the world of the orient, we find evil men and women at the top. There has to be a reason for this. Psychologists talk about men in search of their emotional needs. Can we then quantify this search as it applies to those who will do anything, commit any crime, atrocity, or deception to reach their goal of ultimate control? Is there a fine thread that runs through the fabric of this type of personality? Psychology believes that there is.

It is rare for a political leader to give up power once they have it. They may have to be removed by extra-judicial means.

The thing about tyrants, is that it's a very difficult game to play.
Most tyrants are dictators, which has given dictators a very negative profile over the centuries.

There are tyrants that have been put in position by other tyrants for more external control over other places or countries.
These are tyrants that are interested in controlling the world, or at least large sections of it.

There are dictators that had benevolent agendas for their people when they started....but once in power.....power has an effect on the weak minded, and soon become tyrants.
A lot of dictators were put into position by their people or governments, because they had hopes of making things better for their people. But power corrupts. You have to be an extremely strong willed individual to say NO to all the evils of the world, every day. And it's extremely rare that happens.

The only thing that corrupt dictators and tyrants understand is death. Which is the only way you can get them out of office. And even then, they are usually replaced by someone even worse. Evil requires a LOT of control. It requires a LOT of resources to keep that control. If an evil tyrant doesn't keep a chokehold on EVERYTHING that goes on, they slip up......and thats when a takeover occurs.

It is just as difficult to keep good control, as it does tyrant control. In either case, humans are fallible. And a slipup is just an opportunity in waiting.

Screw Joe....Harris is the one that worries me. I want Joe to stay in office until he is voted out.
