Mom sues school for forcing son to take anti-white class in first lawsuit of its kind

A Nevada mother is suing her son’s school because he was forced to take a class teaching about “anti-white” race theories.

Gabrielle Clark, the African-American mother of the student attending Democracy Preparatory Academy, filed a lawsuit against the charter school alleging her son, William, was not allowed to opt-out of a sociology class involving Critical Race Theory.

Clark spoke with “Fox & Friends” on Monday about the federal lawsuit against the school and what outraged her enough about the class to prompt her action.

The sociology class, titled “Sociology of Change,” promoted “antiwhite racism to students with some materials discussing internalized privilege and the existence of oppression,” according to Fox News, as well as asking students to label themselves and others as “oppressed or oppressors.”

More power to her. It appears, however, that the mother's major objection to the class was not its "anti-white" focus, per se, but the requirement that students "make professions about [their] racial, sexual and gender identities...which were subject to the the scrutiny, interrogation and derogatory labeling of students, teachers and school administrators". Sure, it's all intertwined - how can anyone make judgments about the level and extent of your guilt in promoting racism, sexism, etc., if they don't know everything about you? Without the compulsory self-pigeonholing, it all falls apart. I'd like to think this is going to be a slam dunk for the Plaintiff, but we'll just have to see.

Since WHEN is it permissive that schools teach racism, sexism, $#@!edintheheadism??

I took Sociology in high school, and it was expressly forbidden to have sex or race mentioned or taught, unless it was mentioned in vague generalities.

Even in "sex ed", it had to be kept medically inclined and biologically formatted.

And the ONLY courses that are absolutes are math, English/Literature, and reading skills. Everything else is elective. Hell, PE isn't even forced on the little couch potatoes!!
And you cannot force a kid to take an elective that they don't want.
