I buy good cat food. Science Diet and Beyond but for the price I'm considering table food. My cats love chicken. Plain, unseasoned chicken breast. Drives them wild. Now that I work from home I may start cooking their food myself once a week.

There are many pet food advisory sites out there that keep you advised of pet food recalls, what company puts what ingredients in their foods, and which pet foods actually have the listed ingredients that they claim.

Just search "pet food recalls", and you should be able to find a site you like for your purposes.

You should also be able to get onto the foods manufacturers site for the same information, but you don't know if it's going to be accurate or truthful.
