OK, one chance to be serious and contribute. Tell us how today's identity politics is found in the Magna Carta.

That will be quite difficult for him. As usual those that dont know history. Prove it all the time.

The Magna Carta was introduced in 1215, when King John was facing a political crisis. Its directives made everyone in England, including the king, accountable to the law for the first time. .....snip~

How Did the Magna Carta Affect the English Government?

Chris, this is what I meant.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Not the same as identity politics. Identity politics groups people by abstractions such as race, sex, orientation. The Magna Carter established the rights of all Englishmen, a natural group of people in a place. You're also projecting present day ideology on the past like someone seeing primitive man forming groups and declaring that communism or engaged in trade and declaring that capitalism. Just not the same things at all. Get serious or be gone.

It is an example of how old identity politics is. The earls were an interest group who had the juice to go up against King John. The earls controlled the armies and John knew it, so Magna Carta was written and signed. Today such politics are still represented by groups / factions.

Interest groups, factions have always existed in politics. But that is not identity politics, as already explained. The topic is today's identity politics. Get with the topic, last warning.

Today’s identity politics are the result of generations is suppression. They too are factions but a lot of their interests are under represented, which groups upset you?
