You understand the word but you have no clue of the concept of socialism.

Even private insurance companies business models derive from a socialist structure. They're privately owned and you can choose to pay in so it is different but the concept is from socialist model nonetheless.

That is why I also say that universal insurance is not Medicare for all.

What the left describes is Medicaid for all aka welfare. Medicare just sounds better especially since not many doctors will take Medicaid patients.

Everything in a socialist structure is forced. We pay for highways for instance, that's a socialist structure as well. The whole point of socialism is that you pool the money together and get out a public benefit of some sort out of it.

Pooling resources in any specific enterprise or number of enterprises is not socialism. My car insurance is not socialism. My home insurance is not socialism. lol All Western countries are market economies. You don't appear to be a well educated man.

Private companies do not exist in a "socialist structure". lol You're just babbling at this point.

Socialism does not exist in the west. Or in the east for that matter.

Car insurance isn't socialism because you can choose to have a car and the insurance company is privately owned.. That said, the economic model of car insurance DERIVES from a socialist structure. Meaning, a socialist structure was taken and applied to a private market.

Like I said, it derives from a socialist structure. Kind of like how the binary code of a computers derive from Morse code. Same concept but used in a different way.

Don't worry about it, he was only selectively picking out a word to argue against, then chose to spend the rest of his time Tourette"ing" on it as if it changed anything.
