Additionally, if you push that opinion underground, you are setting yourself up for unforeseen surprises.

On the other hand, I can certainly understand private companies suspending the social media accounts of anyone fomenting and inciting people to commit violent acts. Inciting to violence and planning acts of terror are not considered protected speech. I think that in their zeal to avoid being accused of aiding and abetting domestic terror, private companies would seem to be going overboard. However, they are not bound by the 2nd Amendment, so the only consequences that they face is the court of public opinion and loss of revenue.
"fomenting violence" is a term very loosely interpreted by those king makers in silicone valley.

IN SUMMARY: If you can not see what is going on right in front of you, and continue to apologize for them, then there is not need for any further discussion about it.

They allow DEATH TO AMERICA, and "burn this $#@! down" all day long...and you say that is OK for them to do.

This is a black & white issue, and you have picked the side of the arbitrary censors and king makers.

It seems to me that a person saying "There is something a bit fishy about the 2020 election" is deliberately attempting to persuade people that the election was rigged. That would normally be just fine but in light of recent violent events and upcoming armed protests in 50 states and a likely Trump rally on inauguration day, It could be argued that such attempts to persuade are no longer protected speech.

That person is pretending to be naive and objective about all that has happened for the last 9 weeks. Being disingenuous in this way is likely an attempt to build support for the now demonstrably dangerous narrative that the election was rigged. Such actions amount to sowing sedition. It would be a little different if official sources like the courts and election boards had corroborated even the least of any election fraud claims. But since there is no authority willing to legitimize such an idea and since over 60 court challenges have failed and since the election has been certified by 50 states and the feds, we have to assume that this person is engaging in false, seditious and illegal speech. So we then have to choose between allowing sedition and guarding against another percolating armed insurrection.

    (I am not a lawyer)

Again, if it was true speech, or if violence wasn't a real possibility, I would be outraged just like you. But neither of those conditions appear to be present.

    History will prove me right.

I was associating the entertainment portion of the corporation with the media portion, not necessarily the corporate parent. In most cases it turns out to be the same, but it is the entertainment side that is so heavily financed by China now.

According to the unique “Civility Poll” from Georgetown University’s Institute for Politics and Public Service, it is those three cable networks driving much of the division and profiting mightily off it, making it unlikely that they’ll change tone once President-elect Joe Biden takes office.

All three came in high when 800 registered voters were asked who they blame for “bad behavior in American politics.”

Fox led with 78% saying it was “very” to “somewhat” to blame, followed by CNN at 67% and MSNBC at 61%. When broken down along political lines, 73% of Republicans blamed CNN, second only to social media giants Facebook and Twitter. Some 61% of Democrats blamed Fox, behind Trump and GOP leaders.

Overall, social media platforms, special interests, and Trump led the reasons for incivility in the poll done jointly by the teams behind the famous Battleground Poll, headed by Democrat Celinda Lake and Republican Ed Goeas.

As a result, Goeas said that it is cable TV news that can change and act to unify U.S. politics.

But he later hinted at the difficulty of shifting gears by the cable networks since bias pays.

“Sometimes, when you look at the three cable networks, everything after eight o'clock at night is pure demagoguery. And everyone is going to that silo.

LOL.....The Repub here accepts Biden being the least civil.
Long video but backs up the following:

Edgar Allan Poe — 'Believe nothing you hear, and only one half that you see.'

When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

    Ignorance is strength.
