I have a common cold. I feel old fashioned

My allergies are bad. If I sniffle and cough in public people practically run away while I try to explain it's just allergies.

I know. I'm afraid to cough, clear my throat, sniff.....anything that someone might construe as being sick....they might pounce on me and try to mask me!

I've actually had someone on another forum tell me, if I wasn't wearing a mask when I went in the store, I'd sure as hell be wearing one, when I went out.

I told him, if he had his fingers that close to my mouth, he wouldn't have the same amount, as when he started.
